Historic Bok Sanctuary

Posted by Picasa

We went to the Historic Bok Sanctuary last Sabbath to see the Tower and the surrounding gardens. What we didn't realize was that this was that this is actually the highest point in the Florida Penninsula. TimberRidge (the ski hill place) is taller than this place! :) But the temperature was pretty hot and it's definitely mosquito season already. The carillon in the tower chimes at every half hour, and every day at 1pm and 3pm, there is a recital of a variety of songs. It's actually pretty nice, but I would reccommend it as a winter visit.
